Bit of a 'gotcha'...

Just had a look at one of these Hammerite Metalmaster things in B&Q,
gun was about £40 and the paint tins £13-odd.

I didn't buy one because:

A. The paint's really expensive
B. The paint tin says: "USE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF OPENING"

apparently the tin has the spray nozzle attached and it says you should cover
up the end with some tinfoil which will keep it useable for about 24hours.

So, if you don't use a whole tin at a time it'll be really really expensive

Sounds like a bit of a con at that price, when you take into account how much paint that could get you.

For intricate work I can recommend an automotive repair spray gun, they give a spray pattern of 1/8"-2". I picked up a second hand Iwata RG-3 gun for about £40 on fleabay. I bet it would paint faster than this Metalmaster. Only down side is you have to wash the cup.
