Have they stopped selling their copy of a Snap-on?


A set with different shafts, for bits and sockets etc. Only 19quid though I think it went up to 29. I've had one for 7-8yrs and can't fault it. But looking on their web site I can't find it.

You know their site is a pile of s***e. Just searched for 'Geardriver' out of interest to see what else there was, the pants site, doesn't even recognise the word. Searches for 'carrier' instead WTF.

I found it by searching for Geardriver then filtering the results down to "Car Maintenance" - I only know this becaus one of the retaining balls on an extension piece fell out from my set some time ago and I wanted to see if they were available separately.

After a long search on their site I gave up and took it instore. To their credit they did replace the defective extension.

It's a pro tool so they should.

To be honest I tend to search for what I'm after on Google and add the word Halfords which tends to get me a link to what I want on their site.

The screwdriver looks good - will have to see what it would cost with the trade card. Generally their own brand stuff is around 50% less then retail.
