I got a lot of Halfords tools. Good stuff to be honest. Good quality at a reasonable price.
I have one I bought from the car boot its very handy but this is betterThese look ok for£16
Bahco SL25 Socket Set 25 Piece 1/4 Inch Drive https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000Y8XCA8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_L1heAb61T2RT5
Their "Advanced Professional" stuff is decent, some of the other sets are a bit suspect.
The carry cases can be ok but check hinges and catches (some have decent hinges some don't, some have proper catches but my set just has a plastic tab that soon snapped off)
I applied for a trade card last week and was surprised what trades qualify and how little proof they want - discount varies but I think some tools are 20% off, other stuff up to 50% off.
If you buy tools in their regular "Hlaf price sale" then get another 20% off ...
Tell them you fixed all the cars that wooden go.^http://www.halfords.com/advice/customer-services/trade-card
A lot of the trades are what you'd expect but I didn't think things like a carpenter would be on the list![]()
I got a trade card but can not see te trade prices on the web site after logging in?? maybe i am doing somethign wrong...
Only thing I feel lets them down is the lack of 6 point sockets.
