I was lucky some one posted the offer on here I got two for £22 each!
I just can't fault the halyards stuff for value.
I have broken the change lever own two ratchets gave me a brand new one no problem, I have a 1/2" snap on with the same issue been waiting 8 weeks for parts!!!!

I've got them the tooth spacing is a little to long so in tight spaces the you run out of room before the click. But that's my only issue they are very good for the price and I've given mine some terrible abuse.
If they where 2mm thinner and had a finer tooth they would be perfect
And the little 5/8th ratchet set is very good if you get it on sale

Thanks both i was confuzzled thinking i just had to sign in...
I have a couple of sets and they have stood up to some serious stick, the newer casis better than the old one, but the old one survived me driving over it wit the land rover, killed one of the 3/8 ratchets but that was my fault so didn't take it back.

I have a halfords 1/4 drive pro set that I bought years ago, still works perfectly, just the plastic locking tab on the case packed up so I have to be careful not to spill them all every time I move them.....
The thing is with Halfords unless you have the trade card you will have to wait until these deals come up. I think on trade card prices and deal prices you are getting pretty reasonable tools for the price if you go for the professional/advanced range.
I wouldn't pay the full price for their stuff.
I have a few of their spanners for duplicates (when you need two the size at once). I find them a little thin in the hand, my personal preference is a bit more meaty. So if you use spanners a lot it's worth trying them and see how they feel in your hand.

I bought some of the ratchet spanners last time the sale thing was on the go, decent quality at a sensible price . I dont know why but I still just use normal spanners, I must have some kind of mental block because they are for some reason not a spanner I use or need very much.
