Gutter scoop!

Need to clean my gutters and after a gutter scoop design I could print, to fit a pole. However all the ones online appear weak, or just not very good.

I'm not great at designing but will have a go this week, but dont want to reinvent the wheel if somone already has a good one?

My Fiskars UPX86 pole has a semi circular profile, Its 4m and 6m reach from the ground, so ideal for it.

This is a problem, I can do a lot from ladder but down the side of the house theres a 6" gap to the fence, and half of the house has conservatory.

I could get up onto the roof from ladder, a bad idea I think, its quite a steep one, steeper than normal.

I used 2 pieces of miniline downpipe lashed together (with some thin aluminium sheet and jubilees) and some elbows to make a vacuum extension last time I did ours. Worked great, but you do need a fairly hefty vacuum....especially when it gets hold of a 6" bit of ridge pointing that's dropped out

For the one to which you link, you could use aluminium angle instead of the printed part.

Maybe your slicer can put a groove in the link piece and you can glue in a spine of flat bar to stiffen it up.

The challenge will be connecting it to the pole - does the factory fitted shear remove to leave an uncomplicated surface?

What happened to your throwball gun? Fire a line over the house, secure it to the car and use rope access.

After we roof clean we use a 3000W industrial wet and dry vac connected to an aluminium 2" extendable pipe with a swan neck on top and just run down the gutters from the ground, even has a gopro bracket fittdd to swan neck so we can see if its clean before and after.

use the water house pipe yearly you will do a better job

use tube up an extending pole and then change it into a sprayer at the top

work away from the downpipe as the amount of water going in that gutter will shift most dirt and anything growing as it will flush towards the downpipe
