Utiity room..When the washing machine empties the sink gurgles like a hungry giant.
WM is the grey flexi pipe on the left, at the absolute limit on its length.
There's scope to lower the trap as the black waste drops vertically for 400mm or so before disapearing under the base of the unit.
Looking at the Macalpine non return valves, they are deigned to be used horizontally.
Any bright ideas?
