Gun wash thinners

Can anyone recommend a decent gun wash thinners? I have just been using Omi-Cron Thinner as I don't paint that much, but its pretty expensive at £20 for 5l. I did buy a 25l bottle of gun wash many years ago but was put off by it, as it smelt like **** and was brown and nasty! I also remember transferring some of it into a metal container (it came in a plastic one) and it rusted the container!

I use tetrosyl standard thinners for cleaning guns etc. can be had pretty cheap if you shop around.

Gun wash us usually about a tenner for 5 litre tin. I've used solvents with safety brand before and its fine.

Omi cron is not expensive, maybe just an expensive shop you are buying it from?

£20 odd for 25ltrs is what i like to pay ...yeah some of it is yellow and low quality but its alright to clean the gun out

I purchase 25ltrs drum of cheap thinners for 25 quid 4 weeks ago. shop around.

Yeah £20 for 5l is proper dear, I get 25l for that !!!

£4.50 for 5 litres last can I bought a while back earlier this year, pretty sure it's Tetrosyl in a red and white can.
