gumtree ...how can I get email alerts?

So is there a way when awaiting an answer from a gumtree seller that you get an email alert rather than having to stay booked into/on gumtree? I missed a couple of late replies last year , I just found out , no wonder people get ratty about not getting replies...

I get new messages coming through via email. Probably stating the obvious, but they're not in junk or spam or landing on server junk/spam? I don't recall setting up anything on settings

If you have the gumtree app on your phone make sure push notifications are enabled. This way you can receive messages in real time on the app and copies go to email also.
