Guillotine blades

Ok I bought myself a keetona guillotine the other week and think the blades could possible do with a sharpen is there anywhere close to South Wales that does this guess it's not something I could do my self

can't vouch for their workmanship, but KENNEDY van motors around these roads for years.so assume they serve hereford/brecon at least.i think they're in craven arms.

I have reground my bench shear blades a couple of times. I set up a shelf on the bench grinder at the correct angle, then ran the blade back and forth gently on a fine wheel, until the rounded off edge (with the odd nick.) was sharp. Only a few minutes to do each one. About due again...

I just got quoted 50p per inch at Les K powertools in south Leeds.
Nowhere close to you, but at least gives an idea of price.

Thanks Guys will take a look at kennedy the blade are about 50inch long so dont fancy messing about with them myself and if it only about 25p and inch not to bad a price to have them done had the machine really cheap so dont mind spending a bit

Well had an email back from Kennedy they want near enought £200 to sharpen the blades so have to keep looking i guess
