I don't like the Abracs ones I bought, they were not well balanced and made my hands numb after 5 minutes.

The purple no name ones were better.

PPE was definately needed.

Now you tell me. They might even arrive tomorrow, but with the weather forecast I'll not be using them for a while.... , so time will tell.

Serious question, does build quality vary much between items like this of the same brand? I'd have expected jigged stuff to be spot on. Of course if the initial setup isn't right, they'll all be useless....

Bit late to the party, but for smaller areas the best thing for paint and rust removal that I have used is a Black and Decker powerfile. Around £40. They are good for taking down welds too. Ebay is a good source of the blue belts for them too.

I have the orange version.
