Just want to put a word in for the Machine Mart own brand grinder. The Clarke CAG122, retailing at £23 or £19 if your lucky enough to buy it vat free. Its the cheapest in the catalogue for a start off not a good harbinger, so it was with not too much expectation and a small amount of trepidation that i opened the box.
First off its not a weedy size or wieght. Its 2.3Kg and that at least gives it a solid feeling whilst using. Its got 900 Watts of power and 10 thousand rpm. The button to switch on is not bad for a start. It needs a solid press upwards to start it but it can easily be stopped by a tap on the top of the button. It of course has the 3 position handle and adjustable guard.
I tried it out today cutting a door in my project gas bottle stove, it performed well.
Anyone else any thoughts on it, for or against.?
I am including a link to the Machine Mart grinders range specs' for a handy comparison.

I have no affiliation with Machine Mart or Clarke
