Grinder chainsaw ??

Until the moment your driving home and find a tree blocking the road. Then you will wish the saw in the back was petrol.

Tbh wouldn't catch me up a tree with a cabled saw. Cordless I'd consider if I had a pressing need and they had enough guts.

For general logging at home they are really excellent - light, quiet, no faffing with petrol/premix. Probably a bit slower than a petrol but unless you need the portability then well worth considering.

thatgrinder chainsaw thing looks almost lethal to me no control no brake no safety . would rather have cheaper proper electric chainsaw than that

really surprised me on the longevity of the battery and puts a smile on my face everytime i see lads humping at a pull string...serious logging then stick to petrol but for general lopping they cant be beat...we also have the Stihl cordless 12" stone cutter too and that thing blows my mind at the number of roof tile it can cut on one battery.dont go for the blower btw..its to noisy and we have the Dewalts instead

Good to know re blower. Main thing I want straight away. Working on peoples drives it will make final clean ups easier and more thorough

yea thats what we use ours for mainly...they de-dust a roof area like a brush can only dream of

Block paving and patios covered in sawdust are the bane of my life at the end of a job.

Run away... there's a reason chainsaws cost... its because of the legally required safety that's built in

Since starting to shop on Banggood I have been amazed by the number of crazy, dangerous attachments for angle grinders, the chain saw being one of them.

Just got an offer e mail for those from Banggood.

Having seen how far the nylon cutters fly of our cordless strimmer when they fail I dread to think how far a chain would fly off a petrol strimmer going flat out, never mind how much damage it would do.

And far more likely to fly off given that the bearings on the strimmer expect to be pushing 40g of nylon around, rather than a muckle great chain. Still, it does have that plastic guard to retain it when it lets go

Had a chain slip off on a motorbike , as the god of your choice smiled at me that day , it slipped and hung Over off the rear sprocket and rear wheel .

Could have easily wiped out my leg on its way round , not that I Dont have 10 titanium screws and a rod in that leg anyway .. hmmm lol
