Hello all
Greetings from Tipperary in Ireland.
Having spent 6 years in London, I have temporarily relocated back to Ireland to let the pandemic pass. At the beginning of February I took on the mammoth task of renovating my Clio track car. It's a 172 Cup, which has previously been built and used on track. I bought the car in January 2020 with 122k miles and it's not yet been on track.
In January 2019 I bought an E class Merc and quickly decided I would DIY as I had a close shave with 1200 for two non faulty NOx sensors. Prior to this I had never even used a socket wrench before so it's been a steep learning curve, tacking various issues associated with a high miler (the E class has 201k miles now).
The Clio is proving to be an even bigger learning curve but I am loving every single minute of it.
Here are my cars.. somewhere along the line I thought it was a good idea to buy an R230 SL 500, before V8s become extinct.
See you on the other side..
