M Melvyn Best Member Messages 1,886 Location Cambridge Sep 16, 2025 #3 I installed my original second hand Hoffman two poster without any instructions . Very similar design . I laid the base in position, attached each column not forgetting the chain , then drilled into the concrete for the fixings

Lanarkshire Today at 6:04 PM #4 At one time in the mid 90s into 2000's i installed dozens of these lifts within our main group and to private businesses as well. Once installed, put a level against all sides of the posts and check they are level. Adjust be shimming, packing under the posts sole/bottom plate. Also, check wear between main load nut and safety nut against the main screw, as these lifts went through main nuts quite quickly. Another weak point on these lifts is the trust bearing under the main drive pully wheel above the motor. Memory fail me on what the lubrication system's are on the Gazia, if its just a wip pad or if its a hydraulic system like the Ravaglioli lifts.
