Got the new 131EN

Well I got the 131EN mig welder and had to order the gas regulator adapter. I got that in the mail today and am not sure how to install it. It looks like a quick connect fitting and screws on the regulator, but not sure how the hose connects? Came with a little washer that looks alumnim. I am guessiong it goes in the part tha screws on the regulator? Can anyone help me here wiht some instruction?

Should screw into the regulator. May need an adapter.

The hose just puses into the fitting.

Can you post a pic of the adapter and your regulator?

And what about the little washer that came with the adapter? Does that go in the adapter when you connect it to the regulator? The adapter was Clarke part number WE6550.

Sounds like you got the fitting for the torch end instead of regulator end.

This is what they look like:

Ignore the solder all over it, I had to solder it on a US thread fitting to work here.

Should just screw on to the regulator.

Don't know what the washer is. Mine never had one.

It looks just like yours, but I have a little washer with it and not sure where it goes? I am guessing it goes in the part that screws onto the regulator. Must seal the regulator to the gas line adapter?

ANd the plastic hose just pushes in to the adapter and seals itself?

Looks like the washer would go inside the fitting to act as a compression seal.

Yes, the hose just pushes in. It locks in (you push on the knurled ring to release it.)
