Excellent service there and good for you doing the decent thing. Not everyone wouldWell, what can I say...
Dylan promised that the new welder would be delivered yesterday morning (just the welder, as I was holding on to the torches, leads, consumables, etc that came in the box) and that the courier would take away the "old" unit.
Right enough, the swap was done at 11:13 yesterday morning.
I get home last night and my first thought was "this box is heavier than I'm expecting..." - opened the box up and there's the new welder, a dispatch note that says "main unit only" and a complete set of MIG, TIG, Arc torches, leads, consumables, etc.
Took the welder out to the garage, wired it up and confirmed that it a) has all its feet and b) works - yep, all good.
Now I must admit that I had a momentary thought of "Do I just not mention that all the ancillaries got delivered, too" but then quickly realised that this isn't fair, especially considering how decent R-Tech have been.
So dashed off a quick email to Dylan thanking him for the replacement, and let him know they'd delivered too much so let me know when he wants the ancillaries picked up.
Got a note back this morning apologising for yet more hassle (it's not really a hassle for me) and he'll get a courier arranged.
Got another note this afternoon from Dylan saying that "The MD Robert has just told me to stop messing you around and let you keep it.
I trust that works for you as your machine will outlive your torch and ancillaries."
So - yet another example of first-rate service from R-Tech and I would heartily recommend anyone looking for a welder to consider them first.
