This'll make you sick !!
Nice Mini there Wozz,
Years ago I used to buy M.O.T failure Mini's , weld em up , do whatever they needed for the M.O.T then sell em. Nice little hobby that One day I heard of a 997 Cooper going cheap Grey/White bought it for £60 ( this was a long time ago ) when driving it home it drove flat as a fart so I had a good look under the bonnet and reckoned someone had fitted it with a Mini 850 engine with a single 11/2" SU carb possibly onto the Cooper gearbox, also I then noticed the car had drum brakes on the front and I expected Disc's, in a fit of rage and stupidity I took the engine and gearbox out and scrapped the rest : And it don't stop there ! I also scrapped a 1970 Austin Healey Sprite , Sunbeam Alpine Convertible , and a Morris Minor . In my defense though , at that time the above cars were quite plentiful and not considered " Classics " If I could only turn the clock back Still got the Mini engine & Box in the garage tho
