I dragged this old bedford 220 engined generator out of the weeds today it hasn't run for at least 3 years, put a battery on it and it fired up after a couple of turns. Ran it for an hour It was peeing oil from the front crank seal. While it was hot I dropped the oil changed the filter and when I ran it with the fresh oil the leak stopped completely.I've known fresh oil causing leaks but never stopping them.
