You need a roller bearing that your torch end will snuggly fit into. Then a length of round bar, a centre assembly that you make to slide up and Down the bar and lock in place at the radius the rest is welding cutting and drilling. I know you can do those things well. No milling or lathes required and it's a better job than the cheap tat you can buy.

Thanks guys, you've given me some ideas. I'll measure it and order some stuff. Gonna get a bearing, a tub thT that'll fit in. Interference fit if I can. Then weld a nut to the side for the bar. I'll probably make a couple roller wheels out of some washers maybe and a little leg off the tube. Then the point get a larger bit of bar. Sharpen it down. drill a hole through the side and l top, tap the top hole and put a small bolt in that I'll make into a little wing bolt.

I bought mine off the Bay of evil specific to fit my torch, new from China £26 inc postage. I was not expecting too much but it is REALLY nicely made. All brass except for a hardened steel center end tip, roller ball swivel too. I have far too many projects on my to do list to even contemplate making one.

The seller is called river shop also use the name river weld and they still have them listed at £25.90 inclusive. Look for one to fit your torch.
