Good way to [mirror] polish stainless?

Any idea what grade stainless it is? Hate to see all that effort go into a grade that rusts.

I have absolutely no idea, mate. But it's been used as a plate for cooking on, on top of a bbq, for years before I got it and has sat outside in all weathers in the years since I've had it and shows no signs of rust, so I reckon it'll be OK. I have a suspicion it's catering stuff, but can't be sure where my pal got it before I 'inherited' it.
