That is nice. Maybe you could look around for something to make some "soft jaws" for the top of it if you wanted to put a delicate item on top.

A bit late to thid.
Like Tom above - how is that box section attached to the legs? If screwed/bolted, I would have been inclined to turn the box section upside down. If welded, it might be different but could be easier to reweld it and just grind the old weld off?

Filling the holes turned out to be an easy job.
