Been busy getting my tig up and running and doing some practise runs.
I did a lot of faffing around on the net and thinking about buying an extra tool for sharpening tungstens (bench vice? belt sander? angle grinder even?). Today I just used some diamond cutting disks (£3) attached to my dremel 300 (already had) and got very good arc results. Stuck the dremel in a vice and played with the speed a bit and got very smooth and sharp tungsten. Got nice arc for practise this evening with these.
Just thought I'd post this so a newbie like me doesn't go round the houses thinking of buying new tools when they already have a dremel : )
I'll post some pics tomorrow of my results.
