have to agree, battery development has come soo far, i now think that light development is being restricted by the heat produced from these high output batteries, keeping the torches small but allowing for the heat to dissipate is the struggle.
in all seriousness since taking the leap over to 18650s and 16340s a few years back, ive not looked back, seems pricey at first (my charger was around 50 quid) but ive definately saved more than that in batteries... also the run times are much longer and most important to me is CONSISTANT.
