The Orange edd China ones get my vote too, I have issues with latex and vinyl so can only use nitrile gloves, I might as well use ones that don't split the first time they see a sharp edge

We used to wash our hands in the Trike tank in the 70's

We did that as well and the acetone and thinners, that's why my fingers always look like I just got out of the bath.

Hmm.. do you remember Friday afternoon having to polish your fingers with 800 grit on a DA so they didn't snag on nylon :-)

...need to buy another genuine set as i let my dad use them and he tore the tips out of the first 2 fingers and thumbs starting screws....I had them for months without any damage and he wrecks them in 5 minutes........

I have a pair of fingerless gloves for woodworking as I'd probably wreck normal ones as above, starting screws by holding between finger and thumb.

Even with washing my hands with tufanega everyday the muck got so ingrained my hands always looked dirty.

I started wearing nitrile gloves a couple of years ago and i almost don't need to wash my hands at the end of the day. Nice and soft instead of looking like twiglets.

A bit of a pain when they tear but i just put another pair over the top. Handy under welding gloves or lightweight gloves as the muck does get through them.

These are the ones I use, reasonably cheap - they don't last forever but they keep 90% of the sh-t off your fingers.

If you don't want ingrained horrible fingers........ Don't have a dirty horrible hobby!

That's Edd China's own website isn't it? Price isn't too bad until you realise there's only half the number of pairs in each box that you get with other gloves. I'd like to know where they can be got as normal prices per 100.

Can be had on eBay in 100 boxes. I got 2 box last summer and I have only recently opened the 2nd box. They are definitely the best disposable gloves for workshop use. The fact they last longer cancels out the higher cost of them.

i use the tiger grip gloves, after years of "trying to fina a good pair of cheap disposable gloves they have won hands down.
the only complaint id have is they could be a titch thicker but times id get 2 or 3 uses out of them during the day.

as for buying them cheap, this lad isnt dear upon a quick search, there should be 100 gloves in the box too, i never looked at my box ( which is the same) to see exactly how many are in it but there is 100 at least.

as i was saying, it was a quick google but at a tenner a box its not dear, they are €20 a box not far from here.
