I wouldn't have thought so but having never tried it I can't say 100%.
As the spray will be sat on the surface and would burn off as you cut I can't really see how it would affect the cut edge, I think it'd be a waste of time and money.

It doesn't prevent spatter forming it just stops it from sticking to your metal as you weld. I think you would be wasting money as well.

That isn't going to work, for sure.

You need a nice clean tip, and work on your speed, too slow and you get it, too fast and you get it....

The amount will depend on what you are cutting too.

It should chip off with virtually no effort all being well.

It was just a thought I didn't think it would but there's no harm in asking. Thanks for confirming what I thought.

Ps I know it stops weld spatter form sticking.

You need to tune your travel speed, stand off distance and amperage setting according to what you're cutting in order to reduce dross. It's not hard to get minimal deposit.
