No i haven't tried the soap bar version. It was in a pump dispenser. Same company but I think it was discontinued. I bought a load cheap. Truly brilliant. Sadly used my last one now. Maybe I will try a bar. This stuff? Fiver a bar seems a bit expensive tho
This is my last one. Empty sadly. They seem to have stopped making it.This stuff? Fiver a bar seems a bit expensive tho
I used to buy alot of spare parts from a local classic Mercedes breakers yard. I was in their yard every other Saturday sometimesStoko solopol is (or was, it’s been a while since I’ve used any) quite a “dry” paste, it was very good at removing heavy ingrained grime.
When you say the Lidl handwash - which one do you mean please, as I can’t see anything that I recognise as that?I used to buy alot of spare parts from a local classic Mercedes breakers yard. I was in their yard every other Saturday sometimes
They had a tub of hand cleaner that was like compressed washing powder. Wow was it great stuff and removing any amount of engine oil or grease from your hands. The lidl hand wash is just like it and works fantastic.
I'll give it a go. Pump looks expensive at £13 though!Still this stuff!
Plenty of places online will do 2 x 3ltrs for less than £30 delivered.
Oh don't bother with the pump, I never have done.I'll give it a go. Pump looks expensive at £13 though!
The Lidl hand cleaner that people are on about here has been discontinued some time ago unfortunately. It came in a round tub about 500ml and was sawdust based I think. Shame as it was the best I've used as well. It was never a normal stock item, came round on the middle aisle now and then. When you say the Lidl handwash - which one do you mean please, as I can’t see anything that I recognise as that?
It is still in our lidl regularly! The Lidl hand cleaner that people are on about here has been discontinued some time ago unfortunately. Loctite orange hand cleaner is pretty good.
I'm currently using Silverhook yellow mellow hand cleaner, won't be buying again as it's not that good for work on cars really. It's cheap though.
Nor me - just grab a handful. Now they have stopped that lava stuff I always use the Manista. First used it in 1984Oh don't bother with the pump, I never have done.
I'm sure they either used to or still do, a lemon scented one, very easy on the nose!![]()
I've seen it on ebay for 4x the price I used to pay for it from Lidl. Wondered where they got it from, just looked at the listing and see they are in NI so that explains it!It is still in our lidl regularly!
First time I used it was 1987Little update from my perspective- decided to try the Comma Manista - it smells nicely of Lemon- and works in a Swarfega hand pump
Tried it out properly today after the oil change on the diesel Volvo- I am very pleased- very clean hands, and I reckon it must have some type of conditioner in there as my hands feel lovely and soft (It’s all relative I know)
Great choice- I am a convert!![]()
