Good hand cleaner

I have just tried Ecover washing up liquid.
No idea what it's like for dishes - that's what a dishwasher is for - but as a gentle effective hand cleaner it beats fairy liquid.
Not as good as the industrial ones but for just oil and cutting fluid etc its great. Mix a bit of sugar in for added grit

Best I ever used was Comma Manister lemon but that was years ago and I bet its changed these days.
The beauty of ecover is every supermarket has it.

for the really annoying bit round your eyes that get really black and stay that way , try clarins multi purpose facial cleaner , its orange and expensive , but its instant and amazing , and you only need a bit the size of a pea ,,,, probably find any make up remover will work

I find any stuff women use on their face or body is better for tough dirt like tar dried oil etc.
Face cream, oil of ulay, body lotion on, anything in a tub or squirter.
Lieing in bed one Sunday in the recovery position with a banging hangover, my eight year old daughter wakes me..
Will this come off? She says pointing to emerald green paint all down one side of her face. She had been painting a tree house with her mates and they decided to flick paint at each other.
It was dried on a bit and round her eyes.
Tried swarfega, fairy liquid wasn't touching it, just stung her eyes Started daubing face cream on it in panic, after a minute or so it loosened it up and it wiped off easily.
Have found out since anything in a tub on s dressing table or bathroom shelf marked beauty products usually works.
Good or bad parenting, you decide.

Mum uses Ecover for the dishes, it doesn't contain something (I can't remember what) which almost all other brands do which can irritate skin.

For grubby workshop hands it's got to be a gritty orange soap for me. Swarfega orange (The green one is crap) and Loctite 7850 seem to be more or less the same thing, I've got a feeling Gojo was even better but I haven't had any for years so can't say for sure.

The Wurth hand cleaner is good, the white gear without the polymer beads in it. I think it substitutes the polymer beads with some sort of grit. May even get you into an ecologists knickers

I use the orange swarfega at our workshop.

Have used baby lotion and sugar at home before. This works well.

I know it is not fashionable - but I still use barrier cream - swear by it.

I am not into wearing gloves much. May put a pair on for diesel or CV boot grease. Welding or moving pallets about.

I just found a very old bottle of this.
Lava soap.
Uses pumice instead of plastic beads which has to be a good thing.
Works brilliantly.
