good arc welder

Hi guys I'm on the look out for a decent arc welder mainly for fabricating things out of box section and the odd repair to jcb buckets onsite ect. Has anyone got a reliable arc welder with good duty or know of a good one at a reasonable price. Many thanks

Location, ac/dc, amperage required? Single or 3 phase, inverter or oxford?

Wow. You've got plenty of options then to say the least. Alot of people on here really rate the new parweld. I'll be honest I've welded on cheap and really expensive mma units. The difference isn't very noticeable. The parweld seem to have a good following on here, kemppi units are always of good quality. Jasic units are cheap and carry a good warranty. Plenty of options
