that's a shame I have a fair few of there carbon taps and dies and there quality

It looks like it was/is the UK part. The Australian part is still going, so should be available still.

I have some of my Dads Whit taps and dies, still sharp and still good.

He did have a BA set from 0ba to 14BA, but he donated it to the young man taking over his job when he retired.
