I've looked back through my last posts but can't find the thread.

My work colleague Greg, mid morning tea break showed me his new buy. Under his jacket, under his overalls, under his fleece...

An electric heated jacket! Plugs into a mini usb battery pack, three temperature settings.

-1 in the workshop and he was sweating.

40 euros off 'net and 15 for any battery pack.

I was impressed, mainly warms the back and neck.

Didn't know they existed.

Turn up at work, stick fan heater on where your working, then go stick the kettle on. That way you've got a head start on the cold.

It’s bloody freezing right now. Was out n about today. Three layerswork jacket (looks good but thin and rubbish) plus big furry padded coat

just got in from the shed.
my bottle of water had started to freeze.

need to get my stove finished so I can make a cuppa without breaking off.
