Gloves

i am trying to find some decent gloves for welding, not a problem you may think but i have small hands and i cant for the life of me find gloves to fit without being way to big. just wondered if anyone else has the same problem or no where i may be able to get some from

I tend to use the all leather riggers gloves, you can get them in smaller sizes. The only issue is that they don't protect the lower arm.

Well, i usually put on two pairs of those plastic coated gloves, then to protect my left hand a bit more i put on a leather glove with half of the fingers cut off...works a treat!

Some flavours of Weldas gloves are supposidly available with a broad range of sizes. No idea who (if anyone) stocks sizes other large/x-large though

Thanks hotrodder there in the usa still having a hard time guess i will have to keep looking

You can buy kevlar or leather sleeves to protect your arm.

Reaper, didn't even realise i'd linked to an American site (European site is weldaseurope.com FWIW) but weldas are a fairly popular glove in the UK. I would have thought there'd be a stockist willing to get you some in sizes other than L/XL. Have a play with google and 'weldas gloves' uk results only, small and medium available here for example

Yeah, that's true but at least they come in small sizes: 6 and 7!
I put on a size 6 first and a size 7 over that...
