I understand why people buy cheap ones when decent ones are £16 a box(they £8-£9 pre COVID) but the reality is they rip quickly and you end up with dirty hands anyway.
I buy these and sometimes you can wear the same pair over multiple days even doing mechanical stuff. The key is get into the habit of not throwing them and also swap them as soon as they rip.

I've got boxes of cheap stuff supplied by work during COVID and they are useful if you need something for very short period of time and bin it after but totally pointless for anything else in my opinion/experience

They also have cheap face masks which might be worth getting if you/relatives are vulnerable to this new covid strain.

Because some very well paid people won't take the responsibility that their salary might suggest they should.
