think there is a time when you retire gracefully or continue and make a **** of yourself
you mean like Brian Wilson in the legends slot a few years agothink there is a time when you retire gracefully or continue and make a **** of yourself
....Im stood at the bottom of the garden in a muddy puddle watching it
No idea - I blatantly stole that off Facebook, just thought it was slightly amusing!Except I believe that tickets for 2022 Glasto were £285 each...
Absolutely laughed at his performance it was awfulyes fossils like paul mcartney should be
banned the beatles had there day
should have booed him off the stage
Hope Paul sees the aboveNot seen anything apart from a bit of Diana Ross. She sounded like 2 cats fighting, her voice has gone, some singers should know when to retire!
Rave, not free party… I hate it when people call a rave a free partyGlastonbury, hmm, yeah, big bands, big commercialisation, stopped going twenty odd years ago, just got too big. No fun anymore.
Prefer smaller gigs / festivals.
Or a rave / free party any day.
And here's me approaching 50.
Still having fun.
You are forgetting that many many song have disappeared over time. Only the good ones ever succeedI have only watched a few acts and what I have seen/heard has been realy useless boring Songs that make you want to curl up and die. As I was talking to a friend who happened to be here .... I said I cant see any of them songs being played again in 20 years time, His reply was you probably would not here them this time next year. What has happened to the Music over the last 20 years or so ?? It has been so bad that they are now bringing back musicians from decades ago.
His voice has totally goneApparently there are rumours circulating that Mcartney's performance was delayed being put onto the Beeb's i-player beacuse of "technical" issues to do with clever computers and a "little" auto-tuning going on. I've no idea if it's true but at 80 years old I'd be grateful for all the help I could get if I was expecting to be paid for singing in public. (I don't mean I'm 80 - that's a fair few years away yet!)
Last Glasto I did, Hawkwind headlined, before that Peter Gabriel did - no interest since thenGlastonbury, hmm, yeah, big bands, big commercialisation, stopped going twenty odd years ago, just got too big. No fun anymore.
