Lidl have air tools in at the moment.

They're currently selling a dodgy compressor (looks like a re-badged Wolf) and a selection of air tools.

The best part of the whole deal, though, is that they have started adding 'Product Videos' to their website. I think that they're meant to be more instructional than promotional and are clearly (badly) dubbed over in English.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh - but it did make me chuckle.

Mind you, if he does that regularly, wearing just an el-cheapo dust mask, he's probably got as much paint in his lungs as on the workpieces!

I have the same gun, it works well for the price. Seems they are sold under just about everybody's name. Just painted my trailer with it.

It's an odd website - seems to want your postcode to tell you what the current specials are. Which is odd, really, given that they're probably the same country-wide!

Those demonstrations are so corny, they made me chuckle. Why the hell am I actually tempted to buy the compressor? Have they made the vids so cornily well?

I thought silica sand blasting was made illegal in this country, due to the incidence of silicosis, there is no mention of wearing a proper clean air fed mask,that 'dust mask' is next to useless, and I note he was not wearing when using the dusting off gun.

Lidl should stick to flogging their usual junk and leave the workshop equipment to the experts.
