This is strange. The image i am sending is fine. But yes its awful when posted in forum.

Installing win 11 from usb? dont think it will work on that ancient setup it's lacking ftpm, you'll need to use rufus to create a modified version with tpm stripped out.

It says that incompatible drivers are not displayed. Maybe it's asking for an incompatible driver, which it won't display

you are missing usb driver on the mainboard for installing software

check to se if the mainboard does install from the usb from bios older mainboards dont

you can beat it but your need cd/dvd driver to get to a usb install as ive done it before however on restart you will lose the driver and also the way to the usb installed files

live cd/dvd has files that can access usb install but when you insert the disk also insert the usb as it dosnt recognise the usb if you try to install it when the cd/dvd has booted up

Gigabyte usually has a list of drivers on there website for that specific motherboard but they may not work with win 10/11. Some of the hardware won’t work correctly without them.

ive had this sort of thing before with windows 10 asking for drivers ive allways just downloaded the latest version on win 10 from microsoft to the pen drive (make sure you click the box for another pc) and use that

99.99% of drivers (and other software) for Win10 will work on Win11.

ok it would appear that Windows11 25H2 wont install on this board when using Rufus or Ventoy but will do so with windows created media. so I am now intsalling windows 10 so I can run the bypass script.

I have windows 10 on it but ihave a weird problem now. Lol Not unexpected as they are SAS drives connected through through a PCiE card. Although Windows management can see all 6 drives it has not given any of them a drive letter.

I had to rush out this morning so I will have a look to see what's up with them later.

I am just wondering why the drive letters are not added automatically though?

Seems like it was probably an issue with windows not formatting the discs.
I dont know what they came out of. I converted to dynamic disc and then formatted.

It works fine. BUT i then remembered what I was going to use them for. And now i am. Not sure how to solve another dilemma. I have 6 x 3 meg discs that I wanted to use 6 gig and have 2 disc failure but i have 2 schools of thought. I am constantly seeing users slagging of raid. Saying its not a backup and I really dont know how else to spread a backup across discs.??

So whats the best use of 6 x 3 gig discs. Lol
