Gift for lads who work in a workshop

Hey lads,

My brother is a welder Inna factory that primarily does Aircon ducting and works on a lot of galvanized metal.

He's also got an apprentice under him who does all the grinding.

Are there any pieces of kit or gear that you think would be good to get him as a Christmas gift?
He does have a sort wrist from using the trigger all the time of there's anything there you could suggest.

Can be a stocking filler or a main gift.

Nope he has to buy his own safety gear and tools himself

Seems odd having to buy own saftey gear but welders seem to go through a lot of gloves so some decent gloves.

Nice work boot socks for more comfort if standing all day

Like little things that are nicer than he would buy for himself

A 600mm adjustable combination square with protractor would be a useful tool to have. Plenty currently on the bay of evil at a reasonable price.
