Either use it for parts cleaning, or put it into the tank, a little at a time.
Yes anything goes in there. Brake fluid, engine coolant. If they wanted you to put it seperately they would have a seperate tank for it. Likely all gets burnt and relatively east to seperate off the layers once it has settled by whoever recycles it before burning. The Council Tip.
Waste oil tank is where I put it, just do it, don't ask
I do similar just keep putting all my mixed oily whatever into a 25 ltr drum, the. Waste oil thing at the tip.Yes anything goes in there. Brake fluid, engine coolant. A mate and myself burned off a load of petrol once for a lark, in a 20ltr jerry can with the side cut off.. Go on you know you want to...The chaps at the tip said engine oil is ok in their tank but they can’t take petrol or diesel in it. I’m not trying to sneak 15 litres of the stuff into the waste oil. I’ve done that with coolant before though. id rather try burning it. Might have to make a small burner of some kind (I kind of know what I’m doing as I used to design oil burners)
That gets my vote then, I may have to copy it.Might have to make a small burner of some kind (I kind of know what I’m doing as I used to design oil burners)
Oi! Less of that! Unless, of course, you are a large multinational, in which case, carry on, sir.Just chuck it up the end of the garden and let it evaporate, the atmosphere is nature's bin.![]()
ill take it., im in st austellThanks for the suggestions. I’m not putting any of it in my car. Just dont want to risk it. It’s a 3 cylinder TSI engine. I’m in mid cornwall if anyone wants it. You also get 3 free 5 litre fuel cans - 2 green and 1 black. Can deliver within 10 miles of st austell
