Hello, I've had this mill for a couple of years. I fitted a DRO on the X and Y axises to overcome the backlash in the threads.
To remove the table is it a 'simple' job of winding the table out as far as it will go, i.e. until it hits the wheel, remove wheel then use pliers to continue winding the table out?
Once apart, is the bronze nut considered sacrificial or does the screw also wear out?
Has anyone any experience of this mill? Worth restoring?
