i tried to weld with my stick plant being powered by a generator and the weld was horrible seem the arc was not normal compared to being powered from the house electric supply
any one know why ??

probably the generators not big enough to supply the amperage and getting voltage drop

i think it was a 10hp and i was using 2.5mm rods
