Today my generator thats less than 6 months old with just 280 hour on it has decided to play up.
My house is off grid & powered by a pair of Victron inverters. They have stopped accepting the genny power.
The voltage is mostly between 190 & 240 but odd drops lower than 100. The screen on the genny says the rpm is 1566-1600 off load & the elec at 54 htz.
However the inverters report that the htz are 33-88, mostly in the 44-68 range.
In case the inverters were playing up I reconfigured them to run individually & both report the same.
Connected up my cheap scope & have attached the pic below. To me it looks like 1/4 of the output is faulty. As its a 4 pole I am thinking either a diode on the pole or the actual windings.
Thoughts?
This is the generators scope, ignore the voltages as thats due to the lead (x10).
This is the inverters output.
