Not familiar with model but if it has an avr it could be down to that or worn carbon brushes, failing coils in the alternator wrong engine speed, if non avr capacitor failing diode on the armature or again speed or coils failing, by lack of power do you mean voltage or amperage or both
don't think it is an avr geni its a Chinese thing. I was thinking maybe the capacitor is failing too. I am learning about these things. when I increased the idol speed it gets to a point where the light ive pluged in is the brightest but not as bright as it should after that idol speed it outputs nothing. could I try adjusting anything else on the carb or how do I test the capasitor
It should run at 3000 rpm if you have a meter that measures frequency it should show 50hz at 3000 rpm, to test the capacitor properly you need a meter to measure the capacitance
when i had a china gen the avr was ajustable and could up the volts by moving a pot on the back of the avr normaly the avr in inside the end of the moter half round unit with 2 sets of leads coming out it
