Generator help with Mig

Hi does anyone know if the Hyundai 6.6kv petrol generator has a auto voltage regulator? (AVR) model I'm looking at is the

HY6500SEi​

Can't see the info for it on the Hyundai generator website but my Rtec unit states the generator must have AVR on it.

Check with the Hyundai importers in Pembroke (?) , South Wales . they also repair the generators , so should have the info you require . On the website their is a phone number IIRC.

It doesn't have an AVR but that type of generator doesn't need one.

That type of generator outputs a constant voltage and frequency no matter what the engine rpm is doing.

I've purchased that Hyundai 6.6kv generator should arrive Saturday, I'll let you know how I get on once it's run in etc, thanks for the information.

Sorry chaps I never did get round to posting an update, the generator has been absolutely brilliant and can run the Rtec 181 at its maximum output.
I have it plugged in via the 32amp outlet using a splitter down to two 16amp sockets

One thing to note is the generator is an absolute lump to move about somewhere around 110kg with fuel in it.
