This reminds me if the "300amp" welder earth lead and clamp I bought from eBay. The copper in the lead was thinner than that in a 13amp plug, padded out to look thicker than it was, and about half of it was all frayed and not connected at all. I reckon that if I had used it it would have heated my workshop up nicely.
I used the clamp and dinse(?) plug on a decent lead I had lying around.
