it even loves rabbitsView attachment 64149 This little lady ran across the road in front of me a few years ago , tame as anyting called the RSPCA they put a few posters up and took her off
What an excellent ending to a great taleHey there is a really cool ending I must tell!
Yesterday I got a call from one of the keepers I phoned to find the ferrets owner, previously it was a "not got a clue" and a tounge in cheek response of what best to do! Anyhow he was out last night to do a fox that had been bothering the petting zoo at the stables nearby. One of the staff said "if you hear of a ferret or see one its ours", turns out the special needs kids love them to bits !
So called up my roofer mate "any chance? " . "Yep, I kept him here with you saying you might find its owner rather than move him on and my four year old has been looking after him, so she will be gutted but I shall just get her another baby one"
Story recanted about the special needs kids and a few hours later we were meeting up with one very friendly ready to be placed back with its owners. Now it gets weird this ferret is so darn tame it can get in with the rabbits or their hens and not touch them- that just blows my mind! Yes mine were always ok with dogs (who looked on ferrets as part of the team) but to go in with real live rabbits and such - well that's just weird.
Any how Karma well in order now![]()
