Gauge Entery

Hi
Would it make any differance to the way the regulator functions
as can be seen in the photo, The gauge is laying flat.
The Argon bottle that I have has a side entery fitting.

The reg will work fine in any direction, But I tend to turn them on there side to make the gauges more visible

With the pipe facing down so it hangs easier

If you really wanted to, you could get a right angle adaptor to turn the outlet by ninety degrees, they were about £15 or so when I looked. FWIW I did not buy!

Did the cylinder have a valve guard on? Not a good idea to take them off. The guage is a bit tricky sometimes to get on with the guard, but it is possible.

No No gard,
its one of barnet welding cyclinders.
It cam with a end cover, but you have to take the think off to expose the tap.
the cover covers the hole end.
