colaboy Member Messages 59 Dec 7, 2018 #1 Hi Gang. I need a gas valve for something i'm making. Could anyone tell me roughly what sort of pressure i'm talking at the torch end for TIG. This is after the regulator but before the torch. I just need a sort of ball park figure really. Thanks in advance. Paul

colaboy Member Messages 59 Dec 8, 2018 #4 Thanks for the info gang. I know there is a difference between flow rate and pressure but I just need a rough idea through a 6mm bore I suppose. I just need to know roughly what peak pressure it will need to take before the valve starts passing. Thanks Paul

colaboy Member Messages 59 Dec 8, 2018 #6 Hi Chris. I don’t have a valve. I need to buy one, that’s why I need to know roughly what pressure I will be dealing with so I know which valve to buy. Thanks Paul
