I have just bought a full 50 litre argon mix for £150. This includes the purchase of the bottle. A refill would be £50. He does not charge VAT on top.

He does 10, 20 and 50 litre cylinders at the prices below. These are collection only as he doesn't deliver outside of Great Yarmouth.

£65 10 litre (from memory a refill was about £20)
£80 20 litre
£150 50 litre

These prices are for full cylinders, when you want to exchange you only pay for the refill.

Auto battery services in Cheadle are a stockist for SGS welding gas. I use the Rochdale branch for mine. They are a deposit scheme same as hobby weld. According to Google maps they are 8 minutes drive from you.
