Hi Guys,
I have an R-Tec mig and have been using Jawel 20L Argon Co2 bottles.
I put the reg on the bottle and when I open the bottle tap, I get 300 bar.
I set the output to 10 ltpm.
I use the mig at the moment to spot weld the chassis I am making, 20 x 20 x 1.5mm box section.
Every time I finnish welding, I turn the main bottle tap off.
I notice that the pressures in both gauges remain at 300 and 10 for days etc.
But I seem to go through bottles VERy quick. Say about a couple of weeks of spot welding and its empty.
Does that sound right?
