I have a refillable bottle (300g nett, 900g tarr), sealey branded, that fits disposable regulators. It came with my used mig machine.
the bottle is stamped 1989, and the reg looks old.
I was told it was empty. Is the creaking noise normal in use? maybe if there is no liquid left, the drop in pressure is causing it?
Im not sure if I want to get an exchange for £10, or go with gasless. I dont want to buy a new regulator. If I did, i would probably go for an argon bottle.
I see adams gas do pub co2 bottles, but the welding co2 is more expensive, and looks smaller (3kg vs 9L?). hmmm
