gas question

does anyone know if it works out cheaper tohave a couple of bottles on account with air products or boc.
its just a friend has an account with them and i was wandering if it would be better if i just paid him for a bottle instead of opening another account in my name. we will end up having 3 y size bottles 2 argoshield and 1 pure argon

It might be possible, i suppose it's down to the individual outlet as to whether they will give you a discount.

As you say you're more likely to get it cheaper if it's all on the one account

better leverage when negotiating if your looking for a few from one place

You may not get huge discount for having three cylinders. However you could save by splitting the transaction fees if you both required refills at the same time.
(this is a fee of around £13 you pay to collect your gas)
