I've read here that people "purge" their gas line, and then prime it again next time they need the Mig (ppl mention having a gas priming button being handy for doing this without having to run wire).
My question is - why?
I kinda thought that gas in the line would stay just the same as gas in the bottle (assuming no leaks) - so does the gas in the line degrade or something
